Is it called "Backstage Theatre" or "Breckenridge Theatre"?
"Breckenridge Theatre" is the name of the building located at 121 South Ridge Street in Breckenridge, Colordao. It is owned by the Town of Breckenridge.
"Backstage Theatre" is the name of the non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing live, quality performances at the Breckenridge Theatre.
When is the theatre open to the public?
The theatre doors open to the public 1/2 hour before show time (unless otherwise noted), and doors are closed at showtime. No entry is permitted once the show begins.
Are reservations required?
No. Reservations are not required and walk-ins are welcome. Tickets may be purchased at the theatre 1/2 hour before showtime, if seats are still available.
When and where do I pick up my reserved tickets?
There are no tickets to pick up. Simply check-in at the counter in the theatre lobby 1/2 hour before showtime. Your name will be on our Reservations list.
What is your cancellation policy?
Most Backstage Theatre productions, such as those performed at the Breckenridge Theatre, require at least 24 hours notice to receive a refund. Tickets purchased for some productions, such as those performed at the Riverwalk Center, are non-refundable.
Is there free parking near the theatre?
Yes. There is on-street parking and two parking lots - one on each side of the theatre. There are some parking restrictions, so please refer to the parking signs.
