Backstage Children's Theatre needs your help!
* Seeking Angels, Supporters, Sponsors *
The award-winning Backstage Children's Theatre has been entertaining
children and families with high quality performances since our inaugural production of
"Hyronomous A. Frog: The Frog Prince" in the summer of 2006.
Since that show, we have thrilled you with the inventive puppetry of "The Hobbit"
(winner of several Denver Post Ovation and Colorado Backstage awards),
dazzled you with the magic and spectacle of "The Gingerbread Man"
(presented last year at the Village at Breckenridge),
and made you howl with laughter with our recent world premiere hit, "Two Dumb Dogs".
All of these stellar productions were
made possible though special grants that helped to fund
the technical requirements, guarantee the best possible production values for the shows, and
keep the ticket prices affordable for families.
The Backstage Children's Theatre recently lost a key grant
to help us fund our productions of "Aladdin and the Glass Slipper" and "Babe the Sheep Pig".
We're asking for your generosity to help fund these productions. In the few short years the Backstage Children's Theatre has been in operation, you have come to rely on and look forward to the imaginative and entertaining shows that we have presented. Please help us continue this tradition of bringing the best of children's theatre to Summit County audiences.
Generous donations (of any amount: $50, $100, $500 or more) from angels and supporters will be humbly accepted. Make checks payable to the Backstage Theatre and specify that your donation is to help support the Backstage Children's Theatre. Your name will be added to a list of contributors on display in the lobby for each show. With your help, we can continue to produce affordable, high-quality shows for area families, and be able to bring touring theatre to children who are unable to attend productions at the Breckenridge Theatre.
Donations of $1500 or more will receive sponsorship benefits which include 20 tickets for the run of the show, display of logos or names on all printed media (posters, flyers, Summit Daily News advertising), and more. Call our offices at (970) 453-0199 for more information on becoming a sponsor.
