ABOUT THE STUDENT THEATRical ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

Started in 2014, our Student Theatrical Enrichment Program (STEP) offers kids 18 & under the opportunity to perform in a high-quality musical in a large performance venue.

Participants receive instruction from theatre professionals in singing, acting, dancing and more as they prepare to mount a full-scale production in the beautiful Riverwalk Center. In 2017, almost 70 youth participated in the program, and attendance at the program's public performances exceeded 2,000.

So that cost is not a barrier for any children who are interested in participating, we offer this as a tuition-free program. Instead of charging a registration fee, we ask that participants help sell discounted tickets to the public performances to friends & family.
