Amy Gorelow (Lead Performer) is honored to play on the BBT stage for the first time. Favorite roles include Yente (Fiddler on the Roof), Dr. Goebbels (Hitler On The Roof), Katherine of Aragon (6 Dead Queens & an Inflatable Henry), Ranevskaya (Cherry Orchard) Bottom (Midsummer), Berta/Band member (Hedda Gabler), Margarita (Low Pay? Don't Pay!) and a sixth of the cast in Attempts on her Life (Jeff Award, best ensemble). She has narrated over 50 audiobooks, and plays with her band Agrophonia. www.amygorelow.com. Hannah Mary Simpson (Alternate Actor) is so excited to be part of this wonderful show! She's a Chicago-based artist, and she's delighted to spend the holidays in Breckenridge. Most recently, Hannah was seen as Leading Player in Pippin at Skokie Theatre, and she spent the summer at Festival 56 in Princeton, IL playing Margaret White in Carrie and Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray. Additional Chicagoland theatre credits include Blue Dragon/Man in Suit Cover in Dragons Love Tacos at Northbrook Theatre, Police Officer in The Listeners at The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Mrs. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol at Metropolis PAC, Turtle Understudy/Mouse Understudy in A Year With Frog & Toad at Chicago Children's Theatre, Dinadan in Camelot at Music Theatre Works, Featured Ensemble/Fight Captain in Les Miserables at Uptown Music Theater, and Ensemble in The Healing at Black Ensemble Theater. She holds degrees in Theatre and English Literature as well as a minor in Women's & Gender Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University. Jamal Howard (Director) is a Chicago-based director, choreographer, and producer. He was the 2023/24 Goodman Theatre Maggio Directing Fellow, in the Theatre Communication Group’s 2024 Rising Leaders of Color Cohort, Co-Artistic Director of New American Folk Theatre, and an Associate Company Member with TUTA Theatre. He last worked with Breckenridge Backstage Theatre directing and choreographing A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. Select credits include A Christmas Carol, The Lizard y El Sol, English, Highway Patrol (Goodman Theatre); Doctor De Soto, The Wong Kids…, Splish Splash (Northwestern University); 8-Track: The Sounds of the 70s (Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre); R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
